„Global technology companies have the immense potential to positively impact the lives of all people. I would like to help unlock the potential of organizations by connecting leaders with the right opportunities and helping them learn and grow.“
As a Principal Consultant, I provide support to digital/tech companies in finding the right leaders and developing HR strategies to successfully manage change in the long term. At our Berlin office, I am responsible for the expansion of GET AHEAD's practice group Digital, Media, Advanced Technology & IT. My areas of focus include: Software Development, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Data and AI/ML Technologies as well as Robotics and Bioengineering.
As far back as I can remember, I have had a great passion for new technologies, as well as cognitive and neuroscience and how to translate the research findings in these areas into the organizational context. I am particularly interested in the question: What are the skills that make a top leader successful, and what role do cognition and personality play in this? In my opinion, in times of disruptive technologies leadership tasks take on a completely new meaning when viewed from a neuroscientific perspective. So, my ambition is to provide companies and top executives with new perspectives and assessments that can be applied to such organizational aspects as decision making, motivation, emotion regulation and teamwork, risk management, problem solving and culture change. Using potential and personality assessments such as Evidence-Based Personality Assessment, I find people who have the ability, courage and perseverance to build something from the ground up and navigate organizations toward long-term success.
Prior to joining GET AHEAD, I conducted research on personality and psychopathology at the Centre for Human Brain Health in Birmingham (UK) and held interim roles for SaaS and virtual reality companies, among others. I was also engaged as an independent consultant in the field of Management Diagnostics & Talent Management and spent a good ten years in traditional HR/staffing consulting where I served both public and private equity and venture capital funded clients in the areas of software/SaaS, internet/e-commerce, FinTech, IoT and IT consulting for executive staffing.
I studied psychology in Hamburg and earned a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience in Birmingham. I now live and work in Berlin - a city that offers an attractive environment for creativity and growth to start-ups, venture capitalists and international corporations alike.
