Matthias Zühlke

For more than 20 years, I have filled top and middle management positions in the sectors of consumer goods, textile industry & retail, digital & IT, pharma & life science and technology & engineering. As Managing Partner of GET AHEAD Executive Search I am also responsible for our company’s economic success, the further development of our consulting portfolio and our team, as well as for the development of our client structure.

Even after many years in executive search, I enjoy learning more with each new assignment: What are the exact requirements?  What is the current state of play in the industry and what can we expect in five to ten years? My aim is to think beyond standard solutions and in this way select executives for you who will identify, promote and harness creative potential within your company.  In addition to industry know-how, we rely on evidence-based personnel diagnostics (EPD), providing you with the benefit of efficient selection processes and a high degree of accuracy.

Starting with an apprenticeship at a major bank, followed by a degree in business administration, and then my transition to consulting, I have arguably paved a traditional career path. This path has not only shown me what working really means but has, above all, given me a deep understanding of the economic relationships along the value chains. This is the experience I bring to consulting today.

What I still find particularly enjoyable is the interaction with candidates, clients and my colleagues. I want to work with people who want to make a difference and who will confront me with new ideas.  Such exchanges are my source of strength and drive for more.
